Lots of information will go up on your wedding website and in your invitation suite, but there are tons of non-urgent details that might fall through the cracks in the months leading up to your wedding—including the below.
They might seem less critical, but you’ll definitely want to remind your guests of certain things in the days or weeks leading up to your wedding. Here are five minor (but still imperative!) details you should definitely remember to tell your guests before they arrive at your ceremony.
You’ll Be Providing Transportation
While this is, of course, an important vendor and necessary information you’ll be including on your wedding website, a friendly reminder for your guests in the days before your wedding won’t hurt—just so they know they can sit back, relax and leave their car keys at home.
They Should Download an App
Yes, really—and this is an important one. The Guest app—a (free!) photo-sharing platform that automatically aggregates photos without having to manually upload a single thing—will be a lifesaver when you’re trying to find those silly selfies from your getting-ready room or videos of the horah that everyone took at your reception. All you have to do is tell your guests to download it in advance and set up the event. Read more about The Guest here.
If They Should Wear Any Special Attire
“Semiformal” only tells your guests so much. Take your environment into account when helping your guests put together practical outfits they can actually enjoy themselves in. For example, if you’re having an outdoor wedding on a fall evening, it might be helpful to tell your guests to bring a light layer (even though you may be renting space heaters), or warn women to wear stoppers on their heels to avoid sinking in the grass during cocktail hour.
They Have a Role in the Ceremony
Whether you’re asking your guests to “rush” the chuppah or warm your rings prior to your vows, it’s helpful to tell your guests what you expect from them—so they know what they can expect when they arrive at your nuptials.

What Your Hashtag Is
Obviously, the more photos the better. Share your hashtag via chic signage at your wedding, of course, but also make sure to give everyone a heads-up prior to your rehearsal dinner to make sure the entire weekend is documented.
