The wedding invitation is a great opportunity to introduce your guests to your wedding theme and style—just keep in mind that one or two highly stylized details go a long way.
Color palettes, monograms and unique calligraphy are all great ways to personalize your suite, but if you ask us, we love a good customized postage stamp. Want to go the custom postage route? Here are our favorite spots to shop.
1. Zazzle
Zazzle has two options when it comes to personalized postage: You can choose to shop from its premade marketplace or create a totally custom design from scratch.
2. Minted
Order your invitations and postage together in one swoop with Minted. You’ll find photo postage options (reuse those engagement photos!), as well as typographic or abstract prints.
3. Wedding Paper Divas
Wedding Paper Divas has special stamps that tie together with matching invitations. You can even add personalized options like a monogram or date.
4. Etsy
You probably won’t be able to find customizable postage on Etsy like you can with Zazzle, Minted or Wedding Paper Divas, but you will be able to shop hundreds of different designs and pick one that coordinates with your wedding theme.
5. Design with your stationer.
If you want to go the route of total originality, design a postage motif or monogram with your stationer. You’ll know it’s a never-before-used style and it will turn your envelopes into a work of art. The end design can be woven into other day-of paper products like ceremony programs or menu cards.
