With 250 rooms, 34 bedrooms, 43 bathrooms, an indoor pool, gym and a bowling alley, the
Biltmore Estate is America’s largest home. The 8,000-acre estate was built in 1895 by George Vanderbilt and modeled after the classic chateaus in France. Have your wedding there and you can exchange vows on the tented lawns with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and forests, and host your cocktail hour in the Gallery, which has amazing floor-to-ceiling windows. Want to arrive in true 19th-century style? The Biltmore Estate also offers carriage rides for couples.

Falkenstein Castle, Burnet, Texas

A castle? In Texas? Hang out anywhere west of Burnet and you’ll see a curious sight: a medieval style castle called Falkenstein Castle. #castle #curious #landscape #burnet #texas #tourtexas #picoftheday #photographylovers #travel #traveling #hillcountry #texashillcountry #visittexas #falkensteincastle

By 1947, American newspaper tycoon William Randolph Hearst had transformed his father’s sprawling California ranch land into an exquisite retreat, his La Cuesta Encantada (The Enchanted Hill), or
Hearst Castle. The property’s complex now includes the main structure with two grand towers and 165 rooms, three guest houses, pools, fountains and 127 acres of gardens.

Iolani Palace, Honolulu, Hawaii

#IolaniPalace was the center of the Hawaiian Kingdom for more than a decade. It was the place where the leading men and women of #Hawaii would meet and mingle with esteemed people from all over the world, including royalty, diplomats, naval officers, writers, artists, entrepreneurs and more. When was the last time you visited the Palace?

Truly a castle built for a king,
Iolani Palace is the only official royal palace in the United States. King Kalakaua erected this extraordinary 104-room palace in 1882 in American Florentine style. You can host your wedding on the grounds of Iolani Palace or, for your reception, consider the Iolani Barracks, which sits adjacent to the palace.

Lyndhurst, Tarrytown, New York

Such a beautiful spring day last weekend at Lyndhurst Castle in Tarrytown, NY. We can’t wait to visit again! #lyndhurst #lyndhurstcastle #tarrytown #hudsonriver #lyndhurstmansion #upstateny #lilactree #springinbloom #iloveny #ilovenyculture

Lyndhurst, a stately Gothic Revival mansion that will take you back in time and make everyone feel like royalty. Only 35 minutes outside of Manhattan, this 67-acre estate offers so many settings for your nuptials. Walk down the aisle on the great lawn or through the lush rose garden, enjoy views of the Hudson at cocktail hour from the veranda, then eat and dance the night away in the carriage house and courtyard.
