Every Romantic Comedy on Netflix This March

Happy March! You may be knee-deep in wedding planning details and decisions right now, which means you’re entitled to a night off to pour yourself a cocktail, order some takeout and binge a few movies with your soon-to-be spouse or wedding party. Take a look at Netflix’s March movie lineup of romantic comedies to get you psyched to say “I do.”

Cruel Intentions (1999)

Starring:  Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, Reese Witherspoon

Things don’t go according to plan when two rich, scheming step-siblings make a bet about who can steal the headmaster’s daughter’s virginity before the summer’s over. This sultry comedy is a ’90s classic.

Cruel Intentions 2 (2000)

Starring: Robin Dunne, Amy Adams, Sarah Thompson, Keri Lynn Pratt

Set as the prequel to the original, Cruel Intentions 2 chronicles Sebastian and Kathryn’s first encounters, initial attraction and shared bond of plotting against their schoolmates. High school is no joke for these two socialites.

Cruel Intentions 3 (2004)

Starring:  Kerr Smith, Kristina Anapau, Nathan Wetherington

If you’re obsessed with the first two, you’re in luck. There’s a third one with just as much steamy, prep-school drama and misled romance involved. It sounds like there might be a Cruel Intentions marathon with your bridal party in your future.

50 First Dates (2004)

Starring: Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore, Rob Schneider

Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore shine in this quirky love story about a shallow guy who finally falls for the perfect girl—except she has short-term memory loss and wakes up every single day with no clue who he is.

Guess Who (2005)

Starring: Bernie Mac, Zoe Saldana, Ashton Kutcher

I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (2007)

Two New York firefighters decide to get married to receive domestic partnership benefits. The only problem is they’re a pair of straight, single guys—what could possibly go wrong?

Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008)

Starring:  Kristen Bell, Jason Segel, Paul Rudd

Peter just got dumped by the beautiful and (seemingly) irreplaceable Sarah Marshall. When he tries to take his mind off it all with a solo trip Hawaii, guess who’s staying at the same resort—Sarah and her new boyfriend.

Adventureland (2009)

Starring: Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, Ryan Reynolds

It’s summertime in the ’80s, and James finds himself working at a local amusement park filled with quirky employees and unexpected adventures.

Up in the Air (2009)

Starring: George Clooney, Anna Kendrick, Vera Farmiga

Solo flyer Ryan Bingham loves his solitary job of traveling around the country to fire people. But when he’s assigned to train a young new hire, his perspective starts to change.
