December through April is high season, but it’s also the best time to go in terms of weather. You’ll experience warmer temperatures, less humidity and lots of sun. And don’t worry — high season doesn’t necessarily mean big crowds (with over 80 resort islands you’ll never experience overcrowding), though you will see room rates increase. If surfing is your thing, May to November is the time to go. You’ll experience a little rain, but it’s also when you’ll catch the best waves.
