Marriage Requirements for Denmark

Residency Requirement: up to 3 days in some regions

Necessary Documents: Valid passport; birth certificate; documentation showing present marital status, such as copies of last U.S. tax returns; if divorced, must submit a legally binding divorce decree
Note: It could take up to 2 weeks to process marriage license application in Denmark, so the Copenhagen Marriage Office recommends planning to stay in Denmark for at least 3 weeks.
