Marriage Requirements for St. Kitts/Nevis

Residency Requirements: 2 (working) days

Necessary Documents: Valid passport or birth certificate; divorce decree or death certificate of former spouse/s (if applicable); affidavit of single status

Note: There is an $80 fee if you are staying in St.Kitts/Nevis for the minimum 2 days. If the couple resides in St. Kitts/Nevis for 15 days prior to marriage, the fee is only $20. Ceremonies performed by a Catholic priest must be in a Catholic Church, and a letter from the couple’s resident priest must verify that the couple is unmarried and has received the essential instructions. For ceremonies that will be performed by an an Anglican priest or other minister of religion, a letter from the couple’s resident minister verifying that they are known and unmarried is necessary.
