WWE fans were treated to an incredible night on Saturday when SummerSlam 2024 took place. While the entire show delivered, it was an incident during the main event that truly electrified the crowd.
When Solo Sikoa seemed to have the upper hand over Cody Rhodes, thanks to interference from Jacob Fatu, Roman Reigns’ music hit. The Tribal Chief made his long-awaited return to WWE for the first time since WrestleMania and proceeded to lay out Solo Sikoa.
This dramatic return had been months in the making, especially as Solo Sikoa frequently disparaged Reigns. Fans eagerly anticipated The Head of the Table’s comeback to silence Sikoa, and he delivered in spectacular fashion.
Things aren’t likely over between the two, however. Roman Reigns may have some surprises in store for Sikoa and his new version of The Bloodline this Friday on SmackDown. Here are four potential surprises Reigns could have in store:
1. Paul Heyman Could Return to Confront Solo Sikoa
Paul Heyman, a legendary figure in pro wrestling and recently inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, was attacked by Solo Sikoa and his new Bloodline. Heyman was put through the announce table, a shocking turn of events. With Reigns back, Heyman could make a surprise return and verbally confront Solo Sikoa, backed by The Tribal Chief for protection.
2. Jimmy Uso May Finally Return to WWE SmackDown
Jimmy Uso, a future WWE Hall of Famer and one-half of one of the greatest tag teams in history, has been absent since being attacked by Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga. Loyal to Roman Reigns, Jimmy might return on SmackDown, seeking revenge against his younger brother and Tama Tonga, with Reigns potentially setting this up.
3. Jacob Fatu Could Shockingly Switch Sides
Jacob Fatu, a recent standout signing for WWE, has been a major force in the new Bloodline. However, Reigns could have a twist in store. Fatu might reveal that he has been working with Reigns all along, pretending to be loyal to Sikoa to undermine him from within. This surprise would be a major shock to Sikoa and his faction.
4. Hikuleo Could Debut on Roman Reigns’ SideHikuleo, known for his time in New Japan Pro Wrestling and as the younger brother of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, has been rumored to have signed with WWE. While many expected him to join the new Bloodline, Reigns could introduce Hikuleo as part of his own team. This move would not only add significant strength to Reigns’ side but also serve as a personal affront to Sikoa and his allies.
