The Food Trend of 2015 Had a Baby With the Food Trend of 2016 and Doughnut Walls Were Born

Ahh, doughnuts. We’ve had our eye on you. You’re a perfect bite to pair with other wedding sweets or to serve as a late-night snack. With that kind of diversity and delicious nature, we always knew big things were coming.

We paid tribute to the doughnut way back during
National Doughnut Day when, around the same time, we started noticing doughnut walls popping up. Thanks to the foodie wedding movement last year, couples were looking for interesting and interactive ways to display their locally sourced appetizers, desserts and even condiments. The hot trend this year is all about finding that unique wedding cake alternative, so naturally, doughnuts have found themselves back in the limelight in the best possible way.

The foodie-driven food presentation of 2015 is meeting the hot dessert of
2016. The result is totally Instagram worthy.
