We can’t have The Knot Dream wedding without a fabulous (and we mean fab-u-lous) wedding planner, so it’s time to announce who’ll throw our soon-to-be-named winning couple the wedding of their dreams: Jeannie Savage, founder of Details Details!
If you’re not familiar with Jeannie’s take-your-breath-away-and-then-some weddings, here’s why we love her. She founded Details Details (the only premier full-service event planning and design company servicing Southern California with two offices located in Beverly Hills and Irvine) in 2003, and with over 10 years of hospitality experience under her belt, the sky’s the limit with her creativity, extraordinary imagination and impeccable taste. Jeannie’s weddings have been featured in The Knot, People and US Weekly, and you might have also seen her on WETV’s Platinum Weddings and TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress Big Day Special.
The Knot: What are you excited to bring to the Dream Wedding?
Jeannie Savage: I’m super excited to be a part of this. I love design and can’t wait to meet the winning couple. Whichever theme is chosen by The Knot readers, I want to add a surprise element to it — a twist. Something they didn’t expect, but at the same time, being mindful of who they are as a couple.
TK: What’s your favorite wedding trend this year?
JS: An edible party favor station, whether it’s desserts or something savory. I think the trick is to have it partially displayed all night before it’s served or open so that it can be a dinner table conversation — love a good food teaser!

TK: What are your favorite, signature details to incorporate into a wedding?
JS: I love great artwork and graphics. I think the invitation and paper goods really set the tone and relays the couple’s personality. Some of those graphics can be seen on dance floor, embroidered onto a napkin, or stamped onto paper cones for their fries, or the cigar band. The possibilities are endless.
