The New Flower Trend That’s Taking Over Instagram Is So Cool

Fashion week isn’t just for clothing inspiration, it’s about the presentation of the new collections too. How designers choose to style their runways informs a range of trends, from home décor to event details—and we just found a new floral trend that’s totally captivating.

During Paris Fashion Week, Dries Van Noten lined the runway with flower-filled ice sculptures. This is not a small feat. Not only must it have been ridiculously hard to freeze that large of a structure with zero air bubbles, resulting in totally clear ice, but conceptualizing the arrangements and ensuring they froze before dropping in the water is another challenge completely.

Nonetheless, given how majestic and eye-catching they look, we have a feeling we’ll see floral ice sculptures pop up in weddings very soon.
