Virtuoso discovered—above all else—that travelers will desire a deeper level of personalization with their travel experiences. That includes a move toward far-flung destinations and one-of-a-kind experiences above all else.
Whether it’s a prearranged activity, a precise preference in hotel or an exact table (and bottle of wine) at a hot restaurant—travelers and couples will be personalizing every detail of their itineraries more than ever, and leaving nothing to chance.
After surveying more than 1,000 travel advisors around the world, they’ve aggregated a list of the top emerging destinations in 2019. Basically, these are the hot new places adventurous travelers are going to explore—aka the backdrops you might be seeing all over your social media feeds next year, or maybe even the spot you decide to visit on your own honeymoon.
