This Is the Perfect Favor to Match Your Blush Color Palette

by vietwedding

We’re all for your wedding décor not being too matchy matchy, but when some things work out, it’s just meant to be. With blush color palettes being so popular in the wedding world and the “millennial pink” hue sweeping the nation, we’re a little obsessed with your soon-to-be favorite new wedding favor: pink chocolate. Seriously!

We know wedding guests are longtime fans of edible favors (with chocolate being a top fave), so they’ll be even more excited when they find a bar of naturally pink chocolate at their table setting. Swiss chocolate mega-manufacturer Barry Callebaut (it produces Cadbury and Hershey Co. chocolate) came up with a new natural chocolate hue and flavor dubbed “ruby chocolate,” with a taste that’s fruity and “sour yet sweet.” The newfound flavor, that has no color or berries added, is coming to us thanks to research that started 13 years ago on a specific type of cocoa bean.

“It’s natural, it’s colorful, it’s hedonistic, there’s an indulgence aspect to it, but it keeps the authenticity of chocolate,” says CEO Antoine de Saint-Affrique. “It has a nice balance that speaks a lot to millennials.”

Ruby chocolate won’t hit shelves until next year, but if you’re getting married in 2018, you can start planning for it now.
