When Ryan met Jamie (a member of the college sailing team), he told her that she was the most “nautical” person he knew. So when it came to planning their wedding on the shores of Lake Michigan, the theme for the day was a no-brainer.
The two hired the talented planning and design team at Hey Gorgeous Events to help them with their lakeside wedding. And the result? A natural waterside setting with an elegant tent (by Fairy Tale Tents & Events) and lots of scene-setting sophisticated details like driftwood accents, an open-air lounge with amazing rentals like upholstered wingback chairs (from AFR Rentals and Special Events Rentals), custom stationery (by Laura Hooper Calligraphy), sailor stripe table linens (from I Do Linens), and so much more.
