Who says you can’t wear a ball gown to your beach wedding? Bride Ashley tried on tons of dresses coast-to-coast before settling on this Lazaro gown for her Los Cabos, Mexico nuptials. Her mom spotted the gown in the window of a Newport Beach dress shop and begged her to try it on. The full organza skirt reminded Ashley of the beach—very light with flowy waves—and when paired with a lace sweetheart top it was the perfect choice for her elegant beach affair.

Her Dazzling Details
Ashley paired her gorgeous dress with even more beautiful jewels. She wore pear shaped Ascot Diamond earrings, an art deco diamond tennis bracelet and a crystal appliqué belt. Her sandals were Chanel (not shown) and embellished with tiny pearls.
Her Textured Updo
Every bride’s worst nightmare is a bad hair day. To beat the frizz and work with the humid air instead of against it, Ashley opted for a wavy updo. “I wanted an updo since we were at the beach and I didn’t want a lot of frizz,” she said. “I have naturally curly hair so we basically created textured waves and pinned it all up.”
Her Natural Makeup
A beach wedding calls for a low-key makeup routine. To keep her look simple, Ashley went with nude lips and a soft brown smoky eye. We love how she amped up her look with fluttery falsies—it added the perfect touch of drama.
