Wedding Details: Do I Have To Provide Transportation For My Guests?

Q:

Do I have to provide transportation for my guests between the ceremony and reception venue?

A:

It’s always a nice gesture to provide any type of transportation during the wedding day, but it’s not necessary. If you’re making room in the budget for guest transportation, consider a car, bus or van after the reception. This way, guests can avoid drinking and driving after the party. If you’re not providing a ride (totally okay!), be sure to include transportation details like maps, parking or subway info (and prices) on your wedding website.
