My fiance and I would like to have wedding favors at our reception, but some wedding-advice “experts” are not in “favor of favors.” I want to make it something my wedding guests won’t forget. What’s your opinion?

Here at The Knot, we think there’s nothing cooler than a fabulous favor. If you’re planning to give your guests something unique that they’ll treasure as a token from your wedding — even if it’s something they can’t keep forever, like chocolate to die for — then you should do it. Avoid knick-knacks, which never go over well, but if you’ve got a divine sweet in mind or something special that has amazing and perfect meaning for the two of you, go for it.
